The London School of Astrology offers a Foundation Course for beginners in central London. The next course begins on 26 October 2010 on Tuesday evenings for eight weeks plus one Saturday seminar (sessions are recorded, so students can catch-up/revise. Term Two (also eight weeks plus a Saturday seminar) begins on 1 February 2011, and it may be possible to join the course at this stage if you are already familiar with the zodiac and planets. Please contact the office for more details. Term Three begins on 3 May 2011 for eight weeks. The Saturday seminars for the three terms are on 11 December, 26 March and 25 June, respectively.

Those with more experience may be interested in our Diploma Course (Year 2), which is held on 8 weeknights plus one Saturday seminar a term: Wednesdays from 27 October 2010 (plus all day 6 November). Term Two begins on 2 February 2011 (plus all day 12 February). Term Three begins on 4 May 2011 (plus all day 14 May).

Those continuing with the Diploma Course (Year 3) will take place over 8 weeknights plus one Saturday seminar a term: Thursdays from 28 October 2010 (plus all day 27 November). Term Two begins on 3 February 2011 (plus all day 5 March). Term Three begins on 5 May 2011 (plus all day 18 June).

Please note: All weeknight classes and Saturday seminars are held at the regular venue of Friends House, 173 Euston Road. See our Venue page for a map.

We also offer a range of other events.

From time to time, the LSA schedules extra-curricular courses in specialist areas of astrology and also in other arcane or divinatory subjects such as Palmistry (Modern Hand Analysis).

LSA students are also encouraged to work on their own charts and whatever is going on in the News will often be explored from the astrological perspective. We believe that astrology should be immediately relevant and 'now' based and that learning it should be fun.

Our courses are open to all regardless of race, religion, sexual orientation, or disability. No previous knowledge of astrology is required for our Foundation courses. For the Diploma course we welcome applications from all students of astrology providing they can show they have reached a level of understanding which would enable them to benefit from the course.

There are complete details about all the courses on this website.

Free Introductory Evening... Autumn 2010

If you are interested in learning Astrology with the LSA but want to get more of a feel for the way we work why not come to our free and no obligation open evening? This takes place every September. Our next Open Evening is Tuesday 5 October at 7pm, Friends House.

Here you will have opportunity to learn a little of astrology, ask questions, meet tutors and students and check out the venue. There will be absolutely no pressure on anyone to enrol - you do not even need to give your name or address.

The venue is Friends Meeting House, 173 Euston Road NW1 opposite Euston station and the evening talk starts at 7.15pm. See our Locations page for directions.

We look forward to seeing you at the LSA.
